Paris,1961... The first wire structures were suspended from the ceiling. As time went by the structures in space evolved into abstract and totem-like structures on pedestals. As the structures got larger, it became necessary to reinforce them by soldering copper-alloy welding rods over the copper wire.

"Counterpoint" was one of the first. In this case, each bend in the copper wire became an action-reaction event. Thinking about it now, these suspended structures were meant to be holograms moving in space.
