A Cool Look At A Warm
Subject,1974,acrylic,202x161cm

"A Cool Look At A Warm Subject" is about a male-female relationship. The warm subject is obviously in red and denotes the female. A part of the male is dark grey and divided. The other part of this male is light grey and also divided. The cool green eye in the dark grey field is observing the female. The male is moving to the right.

One part of the light grey field is holding it all together and is well-anchored. This denotes a solid inner stability. The detached part of the light grey field emphasizes the idea of aloofness. The female is going off to the left in the opposite direction of the male. It implies a short encounter. This is a subjectively cool look at a constructed situation.
