"In The Light" brought me to the limit of putting light into a painting. One gets caught up in this movement and it is imperative to stop before the painting fades away. In "Dreaming", there was no risk of this happening.

The transitional period from a flat, to a smooth fusion, to a brush-stroke application of color took about two years. From 1981 until now, this brush-stroke technique is used in my paintings.
